Some Interlibrary Loan Schemes, (ILLs).

  • Many countries have Interlibrary Loan Schemes that are reasonably priced.

  • Australian InterLibrary Loan Scheme. There is a DIY International ILL Exchange Scheme with Canada operated through the University of Melbourne. Australian Researchers might find this website useful too.

  • Canada and the US use a joint North American ILL Scheme. (1998) review of biorhythms are working with other countries, including Canada, to set up International InterLibrary Licencing. This is overseen by the International Federation of Library Associations, the IFLA. Click here to link to the International InterLibrary Loan Form, together with an explanatory factsheet.
  • Courtesy of the Libraries Trust, residents in Canada and the US can access information through their local library.

  • We could be wrong, but there does not yet appear to be a National InterLibrary Loan Scheme within India.
  • A privatised, and expensive system is being developed.
  • There are some State wide InterLibrary Loan schemes. We are linking two of these, Bangalore and Pune, where The British Library, that represents the British Council operates from.
  • Web Link to most of the Indian peer-reviewed academic journals in the fields of biomedical research, psychiatry and health care.

  • The National College of Ireland Library is pivotal to the InterLibrary Loan Scheme, and is the Academic Libraries Co-operating in Ireland (ALCID) run through St. Angela's College, Sligo, E-Learning Site, and the University College of Cork Library InterLibrary Loan Scheme.
  • " What Goes Around ... "
  • The Peter Robinson Irish Emigrations to Canada, 1823 and 1825.
Use the InterLibrary Loan Scheme to forward copies to your local public library.

  • The Malaysian University Libraries and National Libraries Network, including InterLibrary Loans, the Sultanah Bahiyah Library UUM, and The OU (Open University), based In Kuala Lumpur, are web sites where readers can find advice and help to look for the items they need. The Library Association of Malaysia has consistently lobbied for an improving InterLibrary Loans System since the 1970s.

  • New Zealand Interloan Scheme. Participants must take 7 steps before they can join up.

  • There are long term plans for a country wide InterLibrary Loan Scheme in Pakistan. In the meantime there are well tried links with Middle Eastern InterLibrary Loan Schemes, see Siddiqui, Moid A. Performance Measurement of Interlibrary Loan in the Arabian Gulf Academic Libraries, Pakistan Library Bulletin, 28 (3): 1-10, Sept. 1997,
particularly in Iran, and in South East Asia.
  • Given time the (UK) University of Bolton Library can often help trace research documents within Pakistan.

  • As well as being listed in Wikipedia in China, Jacyntha is amused by this link to the "The Biorhythm Kit" . ".nu" is the Country Code (TLD) for the South Pacific island-nation of Niue.
  • Few have heard of Niue, the smallest independent territory in the world. Until 1968 Niue had been jointly overseen by Austalia and Britain. Then, for some years, Niue had the highest per capita income in the world! The soil in Niue is extremely rich in natural phosphates, used as fertiliser. This resource was exploited, exported and squandered. After wasting so much, the people of Niue are trying to rebuild.

  • Totally by chance, members of the London Biorhythm Company came across the Norwegian edition!

  • Jacyntha Crawley has many published articles to her credit. These include articles on biorhythms that have come out in the UK, and in magazines worldwide. If asked to, Jacyntha could post out photocopies of these, preferably on recepit of a large ssae, or an IRC. Given time, Jacyntha could scan the articles and send them as an e.mail attachment. She feels, though, that, in this instance "real" (snail!) mail is probably easier and quicker!
  • In his (1998) review of biorhythms written for Psychological Reports, Terence M. Hines, Ph.D. singles out Jacyntha Crawley specifically.
